About Us

How it started

The Hill Tribe Local Experience North Vietnam is a fundraising project for disadvantaged students in the Northern Vietnam.

Since December 2012, we started a project “Building capacity for disadvantaged youth” aimed at enhancing careers skills for disadvantged students, who come from extreme poverty, hunger families & orphaned status. We believe that education is fundamental to create a better future, enabling these disadvantaged hill-tribe teenagers to acquire skills, knowledge essential for improving their quality of life and stay on human dignity.

After a year, we realised that there were many students taking up this opportunity. So we started this exciting project Hill Tribe Local Experience North Vietnam, where all the proceeds will be used to fund our classrooms and purchase study materials.

Message

Our team is made up of locals in order to provide to our participants with the best travel through our shared experience. We live in Ha Giang highland, and we work here, and we have a passion for community development program which we share with all participants from parts of the world, bringing you the opportunities to discover and make a difference by helping local ethnic minority people. We know our region and we speak the language, we are also good at English to talk with you about the interesting legends of our motherland !
